Tightening, look, feel - what is the correct procedure?

I would like to know what would be the correct procedure(s) to be done to make vagina tighter, almost virgin tight if possible. To have sex feel good again. Three kids and have had sex a LOT. How much it will cost in WI? Does it hurt? How long for recovery? Can it be done more than once if I'm unsatisfied? When can I have sex after?? Just don't want to be so loose and need sex to feel as great as it used to. Help! :(

Vaginal Tightening

Thank you for sharing your questions with us.
A vaginal tightening procedures focusses on the inside of the vaginal canal to decrease the diameter and make it tighter thereby increasing friction and possible allowing for more intense orgasms and better sensation for both partners.  The perineum is also redone allowing for removal of any scarring caused by childbirth and making the entrance to the vagina tighter.
To answer some of your questions:
  1. Cost: anywhere between 3 to 5 thousand on average ( we offer competitive pricing, so please feel free to looks at our website and call us for more detail and specials )
  2. Recovery:  The sutures usually dissolve in about 6 weeks and you may return to sexual activity between 6 to 8 weeks.
  3. Can it be done again?  It certainly can but it is normal not necessary
Best of luck :)

Vaginal Tightening

Candidates of Vaginal Rejuvenation or Vaginoplasty surgery are women who desire a more youthful appearance and function of the vulvas and vaginal area. For some women, the effects of childbirth, aging, trauma, and/or genetics, causes their vaginal tissue and muscles to become stretched, which results in loss of strength and tone in the vaginal area. This can lead to unsatisfying intimate contact and discomfort.
These surgeries are best performed by carefully selected Plastic Surgeons or Gynecologists. As this is not a very common procedure it is important that you choose a specialist who has significant experience in these procedures to get the best result with the least number of complications. Non Surgical methods may also be feasible such as ThermiVa.
Intended ResultThe intended results of cosmetic labia and vaginal surgery are to return a youthful sensation and appearance to the labial and vaginal areas or in other cases, to remove physical and psychological discomfort.
The surgical procedure, Vaginoplasty, in many cases, can increase friction during intercourse, giving women more control of vaginal muscles, increasing sexual satisfaction, while also creating a more attractive and appealing appearance to the vaginal area.
The outcome of a Labiaplasty is a more youthful appearance, ability to wear all types of clothing without discomfort and/or embarrassment, and a more confident sex life.
Procedure DescriptionDuring labiaplasty, the surgeon basically trims either the involved labia minora or majora, carefully removing excess and unnecessary skin to reduce discomfort, improve the appearance and aesthetically reshape the lips.
During the Vaginoplasty, the surgeon removes a segment of the vaginal lining and repositions the underlying muscles, resulting in noticeably tight inner and outer vaginal walls
Sex is usually permitted after 6 weeks of recovery.

Vaginal rejuvenation after 3 kids

The first thing you need is a gynecologic evaluation to assess for damage to the supports of your pelvic organs and muscles. If these are damaged, and they usually are after 3 kids, you'll need pelvic reconstruction at the same time as vaginoplasty. If it's done properly, it doesn't need to be redone ever.

Who is a Candidate for Vaginal Rejuvenation

Candidates of #VaginalRejuvenation or #Vaginoplasty surgery are women who desire a more youthful appearance and function of the vulva and vaginal area. For some women, the effects of childbirth, aging, trauma, and/or genetics, causes their vaginal tissue and muscles to become stretched, which results in loss of strength and tone in the vaginal area. This may result in decreased intimacy and sexual satisfaction. In some cases, the laxity of tissues can be visible.
The lining of the vagina can be reduced, removing excess and redundant mucosa decreasing the diameter of the canal. Additionally, the muscle ring, pubococcygeus, at the entrance or introitus can be tightened. These procedures along with exercises such as Kegles can help keep the muscle tone in this area. Aesthetic Vaginoplasty, in many cases, can increase friction during intercourse, giving women more control of vaginal muscles, increasing sexual satisfaction, while also creating a more attractive and appealing appearance to the vaginal area.
Vaginoplasty can also be carried down to the area below the vulva and above the anus, the perineum. This area may be irregular from childbirth or previous trauma. It can be corrected with excision and closure to further enhance the region.
Generally, patients are able to walk comfortably within a few days and can return to work within a week. Swelling can persist for several weeks.
Patients return to most normal activities immediately after surgery with the exception of activities that will create direct pressure on the area, such as certain exercise equipment and sexual activity. It will be necessary to refrain from these forms of physical activity, including sex, for approximately 4-6 weeks.

Correct procedure(s) for vaginal tightening

Vaginal deliveries can cause both cosmetic and anatomic changes that can cause a feeling of looseness. Often times the pelvic floor muscles become stretched or injured which can progress over time. It is important that you have a thorough urogynecologic evaluation to determine if you need vaginal reconstructive surgery as well.
I recommend that you locate a urogynecologist or gynecologic surgeon that has extensive training in both vaginal reconstruction and well as training in aesthetic gynecology to achieve the best long-term results.
When all aspects are addressed properly, and provided that you are pleased with your results, you should not require additional surgeries. Surgery should be considered an investment and so should your recovery. You will have to follow simple rules for about 6 weeks (including nothing per vagina) to allow proper healing. Aside from that you can take care of most of your daily needs.
Be sure to ask the above questions to any surgeon that you interview. It is important that you feel confident with their abilities before committing to them as your surgeon.

See a Urogynecologist

Great questions!  The best thing to do is seek the advice of a Urogynecologist, a Gynecologist who specializes in pelvic floor disorders.  If you are diagnosed with a real clinical problem, insurance should cover your surgery, which may include repair of both anterior and posterior compartments and bolstering of the perineum (perineorraphy) to tighten the vagina.  Recovery is approximately the same after a vaginal delivery with repair, 6 weeks.  Hope this helps!

Vaginal tightening, look, feel - what is the correct procedure?

You need to be examined so someone can customize a plan for you. There are many reasons that someone can be loose after childbirth and the necessary procedure would depend on whether you are simply loose or if there has been tearing with the deliveries and whether that includes the muscle as well. In terms of the external appearance a labiaplasty is usually the answer, but each woman will have a different appearance and a different goal for after surgery that must be customized during a consultation. The costs will depend on what exactly you need done. The only way to know for sure what you need and how much it will cost is to book a consultation with a board-certified plastic surgeon near you to see what your options are. Best of luck!

Vaginoplasty details.

Non-surgical options beyond Kegal exercises are very limited in their long-term efficacy, especially if there is a mechanical defect such as an episiotomy incision that was improperly are inadequately closed after childbirth.
Your story and concerns are in good company with almost ever other patient that undergoes vaginal rejuvenation and turns out to be an enormous (sexual) self-confidence booster thereafter.
Vaginal Rejuvenation (a.k.a. vaginoplasty) is performed to reconstruct (more or less tighten) the vaginal vault most commonly following natural vaginal birth. Again, like most other surgery, the experience of and “attention to detail” (a.k.a. compulsiveness) by the surgeon is the most important element to achieving a good result. Although there is some merit to Kegal exercises, many patients with laxity after natural vaginal birth fail to obtain sufficient tightening. For these patients, vaginoplasty, tightening of the vaginal vault muscles from the introits (opening) up to the cervix is typically the best solution. The procedure is commonly done on an outpatient basis in about an hour under either deep intravenous sedation or general anesthesia. Recovery is gradual but probably the worst for the first 4-5 days until swelling starts to reside then patients feel better each day thereafter. Sexual activity is usually refrained for about 6 weeks. In a study I was involved in back in 2009, 87% of vaginoplasty patients were satisfied with their results and had an improved sexual experience post-operatively. Typical (all inclusive) fee at my office/surgery center is $8500. Glad to help.
