Cost factors vary significantly for a number of good reasons: Prices vary greatly because the surgery itself encompasses a wide range of techniques that can be performed to different extents. My recommendation is to first find the most qualified surgeons where you want the surgery performed that are board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery you trust, then compare prices between them. See the below link on suggestions on how to find the most qualified plastic surgeon for your procedure. General Factors that influence the price of plastic surgery include:
1. Location - Will it be performed in a hospital with an overnight stay, an independent out- patient facility or a doctor’s office? Geographical location also has a significant influence. RealSelf has average charges for most areas of the USA.
2. Type of Anesthesia - local, IV sedation or General Anesthesia? Will a board certified anesthesiologist, nurse anesthetist, or an RN be used?
3. Experience and training of your surgeon. The best and longest trained is most often a plastic surgeon board certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery
4. Length and Complexity of Surgery - how difficult will your surgery be and how long it will take, etc. Will other complementary procedures also be also performed during the same surgery?

I appreciate your question.
Cost varies by geographic location, surgeon expertise, OR time, anesthesia, length of procedure etc. I would recommend that you see a board certified plastic surgeon in your area who specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery and who is also a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgery. You can call their offices in advance and ask for quotes prior to scheduling consultations.
The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam.
Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery.
Best of luck!

Thank you for your question.
Fees will vary from surgeon to surgeon. I suggest calling several board certified plastic surgeons in your area to discuss your options and fees. Best wishes.
Thank you for asking about your mommy make-over.
- There is no fixed fee for these procedures -
- It is illegal for surgeons to agree to fixed fees - that's a government law.
- Fees will also vary in different areas, the exact kind of surgery, your health and the kind of implants.
- But the surgery is likely to cost somewhere between $10,000 and $20,000.
Always see a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon. Best wishes - Elizabeth Morgan MD PHD FACS
I want to do my Tummy tuck and enlarge my breast. Just I want to know how much its gonna cost me?
Thanks for the question.
Pregnancy can take a toll on a women's body. In order to help reverse some of the effects of child bearing, many women choose to have a "mommy makeover". A mommy makeover can involve ANY of the areas affected by pregnancy: most commonly a tummy tuck (abdominoplasty) and breast augmentation and/or lift (mastopexy). Other commonly requested surgical procedures include liposuction surgery and/or genitalia surgery.
When it comes to cost of surgery, there may be many “variables” involved. The specific surgeon's credentials/experience level (or lack thereof), the specific geographic area you are looking at, the different operations available, the location of the procedure ( quality of surgery facility), type/quality of anesthesia provider, type of breast implants… are some of the potential variables involved. You will find average costs of surgery listed on this website, and on individual plastic surgeon's websites as well.
In regards to outcome of the planned procedure, more important than costs of the procedures will be careful selection of your plastic surgeon. I would suggest starting with the American Society of Plastic Surgery and/or the Aesthetic Society of Plastic Surgery to obtain a list of well experienced board-certified plastic surgeons. Then, I would suggest you visit a few surgeons whose practices concentrate on aesthetic surgery. ***Ask to SEE lots of examples of their work AND preferably speak/see patients who have had similar procedures done. Be very careful with your decision-making. You will find, while doing your due diligence, that there are many different “specialties” who will offer their services to you; again, I strongly recommend you concentrate on surgeons certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
You may find the attached link, dedicated to mommy makeover surgery concerns, helpful to you as you learn more. Best wishes.
Pricing for these procedures will be determined by many factors. Some are implant costs, surgeon's fees, facility charges, and anesthesia costs. Note also that these fees will vary by surgeon and area. Some surgeons will give you general pricing over the phone, but to get a true cost estimate it is best to visit with a board certified plastic surgeon in your area for a consultation.
Thank you for your question. the Realself page is an excellent tool to get in touch with doctors directly and receive quotes. You can send your photos and then receive an immediate answer from the surgeon of your choice. Best of luck
Thank you for your question. It is worth having multiple consultations to evaluate cost variation among surgeons in your area. Choose a board certified plastic surgeon based upon experience and the results he or she can deliver, not just on cost alone. Many practices offer financing plans to lessen the upfront cost. Hope this helps and good luck with your procedure.
The Approximate Costs of a Mommy Makeover
The Mommy Makeover is a combination of procedures to bring a woman’s body back to the way she looked prior to pregnancy. Most commonly some variation of a #TummyTuck and #BreastSurgery are performed. Additional procedures can include liposuction, umbilical hernia repair. The most common #breastprocedures include #mastopexy or #breastlift, #breastaugmentation, or #breastreduction.
The costs of a #Mommy Makeover will depend on several factors. Such include the geographic location, the skill and experience of the surgeon, and operating room and anesthesia fees. Approximate #costs can be found here on the Real Self website, Surgery.org, or PlasticSurgery.org. Also, the costs are contingent on the specific #procedures being combined in the operation. Such will be discussed in greater length during your one-on-one consultation. Also, such #combined operations are often performed with our Gynecology colleagues. Tubal ligation is a common post pregnancy procedure which is done at the time of many of the surgeries included with Mommy Makeovers. Therefore, if you require a gynecologic operation or study (laparoscopy) and are considering a plastic surgery procedure, discuss these issues with your doctor. Combining these procedures decreases anesthetics, costs, and recovery time.
Mommy makeover costs vary
Hi gorgheesekhlas, the average cost for a mommy makeover can be found by region on RealSelf. There will be variation in cost between patients depending upon whether a full tuck vs. mini is done, whether liposuction is required, and whether a lift is done with implants, as well as the type of implant that is used (saline vs. gel vs. gummy bear). Keep in mind that there are several elements to cost, including whether you are paying for an anesthesiologist& general anesthesia. Typically, facility costs are increased in surgery centers and hospitals, compared to accredited operating rooms within the surgeon's office. Some cost estimates don't include compression garments, pain relief options like pain pumps or Exparel injections, treatments for bruising like Arnica supplements, home nursing if done as an outpatient, etc. Consult with several ABPS certified PS and consider their experience, results/reviews, etc. in addition to their cost breakdown. Good luck!
