4 months post op breast reduction, nipple not heeling. Thoughts? (photos)

Great question!  Unfortunately because you had an infection in the past, it is taking much longer to heal.  Surgeon usually place many layers of sutures that can take months to dissolve and go away.  If you have even a minor infection of these sutures, then it will take an extended period of time to resolve.  I would continue to followup with your plastic surgeon so he/she can continue to monitor the progress but unfortunately there is not much that can be done at this time.Best of luck and hope this information helps!

Why are you not seeing your operative surgeon for care? Or seek finding a second opinion and care providing PS. Expect the second PS to charge a fee to be seen and to render care. Also see a dermatologist for any skin issues...
