I got my eyebrows microbladed on the 10th (6days ago) and around the 4-5th day my brows were itchy and started to SMELL. I noticed the smell around the 4th day and by the 5th I was taking a q-tip and gently going across my brow, when smelling it (I know gross) it smelled BAD. Like an infection or smelly feet?? I contacted my artist and she told me to wipe them with an alcohol wipe and then put aquaphor on them. Should I do that? Is a smell a sign of infection? What should I do help!

Answer: Microblade - Follow after care instructions
Hi MollyMoo123, Most of the ink you're seeing is superficial; and it's normally darker and thicker days after microneedling. Please do not try to wash it off at this point. Allow your "wound" to heal and go for a touch-up 6 weeks after microneedlingAll the best,Justin Harper, M.D.
Hello and thank you for your question. Our recommendations is to keep the area dry the first two days, on day 3-7 apply a very thin amount of aquaphor to the area twice a day.Hope this helps!
Hi tpark1,What you are experiencing is normal. It is part of the healing process and does not seem like an allergic reaction. Resist scratching as this will result potentially result to scarring. Keep your brows dry,All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.
