I have had milia since my teenage years and now I am 31.

i have started using pure retinol (0.15%). I am ok with the results. It seems the really big ones are gone and i have really tiny ones left which are huge in number. I also have seen a dermatologist done some extractions but they simply get back. I was thinking of starting to use Derma Roller as i read that this will help to remove them permanently. My questions are: 1. Will microneedling help fix the issue? 2. For how long can i use retinol (0.15%)? Of course any other suggestion is welcome

Retinol can improve the appearance of milia some, but a combination approach, including microneedling, would be best. Please see a cosmetic dermatologist with experience.  Peels, lasers, needling and manual exfoliation will improve this over time.  Best, Dr. Emer.
