I have been using obagi Nu seem for four weeks and have developed small red spots on my cheeks my skin is very red and sore in some areas and the pigmentation on my upper lip is worse looks like a moustache . I am of Pakistani origin is this normal and should I continue the treatment ?

Thank you for your question! I always use the analogy that starting a nu derm kit is similar to starting a rigorous workout routine. There is an adjustment period in the beginning that can be hard to continue to push through and stay motivated. The areas of redness could be pre-cancerous skin cells that are exfoliating. I would follow up with the medical office where you purchased the product so they can review how you are using the kit and offer tips on how to get you through the transition period.
