I would strongly suggest researching medial thigh lift. The medial thigh lift is a difficult reconstructive plastic surgery procedure. There is a steep learning curve. I would interview as many reconstructive plastic surgeons as you can before embarking upon this procedure. I would try to find a plastic surgeon that has done more than 50 medial thigh lifts. Also try to find a plastic surgeon who has "before and after pictures" of several patients with legs similar to yours. Your plastic surgeon's experience is crucial for success in a medial thigh lift. Please do your research. Good luck with your medial thigh lift.

Thigh Lift after Breast Augmentation and Tummy Tuck

Your plastic surgeon will probably lead you to the answer.  If he or she can do a good job, he or she will tell you.  Thigh lifts are not nearly as popular as tummy tucks and breast augmentations.  Kenneth Hughes, MD Los Angeles, CA

Thigh lift

If you are happy with your surgeon and your results, it is something to discuss with him/her.  Since you know the quality and honesty of your surgeon, he/she will guide you to the right choice.  A thigh lift can be accomplished with success as well by your surgeon if he/she is comfortable.

Consider Further Discussion with Your Surgeon

Thank you for your question.  Congratulations on your excellent outcome.  It is encouraging that your surgeon has shared his experience with you.  It shows integrity.  Plastic surgeons are very experienced at these type of procedures and if he is confident that he can deliver a good result, then you have answered your question.  There are a few things to consider:  Where will the incision be placed? How will he prevent labial distortion or scar migration...colle's fascia anchoring?  How will he manage wound separation, seromas or lypmphoceles if they occur.  If you are confident with the answers you receive...great!   Otherwise consider further consultation.  All the best!

Choosing a plastic surgeon

Trust is the key issue.  If you got a good result with your previous surgery then I believe that you have answered your own question.  If you have any reservations then additional consultations may help you make an educated decision.
