I had two emergency implants done on Monday morning due to an infection caused by a microfracture in my upper molar. It is now three days later and I still have some paralysis on the left side of my face when I smile etc. I am very concerned this paralysis will stay. Should I have the implants backed out? I would appreciate your thoughts on what I should do next?

Hi Noreason,
In most situations, you should be able to eat or chew anything you want after your implant restorations. If the implant crown is cemented, wait 24 hours for the cement to fully set before chewing gum.
