How do I treat alopecia barbae? There is a lack of concise information online. (photos)

I've read that it is due to stress or an autoimmune disease. I'm not particularly stressed. I live a great life. I was however living in indonesia for work when this began in october 2017 and its progressively gotten worse. Could I have contracted something there? I feel completely fine. Who do I turn to for a proper diagnosis and treatment?
