Is it possible to get rid of these long cheek dimples that occur when I smile? (Photo)
Hi Doctors! I get these long dimples on both cheeks, starting from the corners of my mouth and reaching all the way under my chin (creating a fold). One side is much deeper than the other, and they only appear when I smile (no dimples or indents when cheek is at rest). From what I've gathered they are muscles or tissues connected to the skin? Can a surgical procedure free the skin from the underlying muscle and stop these dimples from happening when I smile? Thank you!
