Lip Augmentation with Fillers or Lip Implant or Fat --- Go Slow, Use Cannulas -- Reverse with Hyaluronidase If Unhappy

Fillers can be used even in patients that have enlarged glands on the lips.  I suggest seeing an expert for a consultation.  Best, Dr. Emer.

Salivary Glands and Juvéderm

Everyone has salivary glands. Every patient who has ever had Juvéderm injected had salivary glands. It is impossible to tell what that bump/lesion is on your lip without an in-person evaluation. You should have it evaluated by a dentist, oral surgeon, or ENT surgeon. If everything is good to go after your evaluation, then it is possible to proceed with your Juvéderm injection.
