How Long Do Liposonix Results Last?

Liposonix results in the permanent destruction of a portion of fat cells under the skin.  Once these cells are destroyed, they can't come back.  However, the remaining fat cells can enlarge if the patient consumes too many calories/ too much fat.  Yes, Liposonix works on excess fat anywhere under the skin including the abdomen, love handles and butt.

Liposonix fat removal

Liposonix is a remarkable, FDA-cleared procedure to treat abdominal fat.  The procedure usually takes about one hour, and studies show a one inch reduction in waist circumference.  The great thing about the procedure is that, unlike liposuction or a tummy tuck, it's completely non-invasive.  If you can pinch an inch of fat, you may be a candidate for the treatment.  Results are expected to be permanent.  The being said, large weight fluctuations may impact results.

Liposonix results are expected to be permanent

Because Liposonix destroys fat cells, the results are expected to be permanent in terms of localized fat reduction - just as with liposuction. However, unlike liposuction Liposonix is completely noninvasive. It takes several weeks for the results to appear because the body has to absorb the material that remains after the cells have been destroyed. A single treatment is all that is usually required. Other types of treatments that require multiple sessions usually offer only temporary results.

Liposonix fat removal is permanent

Liposonix is a new FDA approved non-surgical and non-invasive procedure for the removal of unwanted fat. It uses high intensity focused ultrasound to permanently remove fat. After the procedure, most patients will notice results in about 3 months. The procedure takes about 1 hour in the office. There is no downtime and you can go back to work the same day!

Liposonix is an alternative to liposuction. It is not a weight loss procedure or replacement for healthy diet and exercise. The new liposonix is much better than the older version. There is a huge difference.

Liposonix fat removal is permanent

Liposonix uses high intensity focused ultrasound to kill fat cells. The cells are slowly removed from the body over several weeks.  Once a fat cell is killed and removed it will not return.  It is thought that the body does not replace lost fat cells.  Having said that if significant weight is gained the remaining fat cells will indeed get fatter, possibly obscuring your results.  The best thing is to have a stable weight controlled by diet and exercise.

Liposonix will be very rewarding on love handles and belly fat. Butt fat should also respond.  It is a wonderful way to contour the body, especially in areas that are stubborn and do not respond to diet and exercise.
