There can be swelling for 3 to 6 months, occasionally longer. Everyone is different, each surgical procedure is different. Best wishes.

Everyone is different when it comes to swelling. It can be anywhere from 6-12 months for all swelling to subside. Wearing a compression garment can and will help with the swelling.
