I had a fraxel re:pair last thursday and was wondering when will the collagen growth come and fill in the little holes that were put into my skin

The Fraxel Repair is an ablative lasers and repeat treatment must be handled very carefully. The Fraxel Restore is a nonablative laser and treatments are usually spaced about 2 weeks apart for a series of 3 - 5. In my practice, I prefer the Fraxel Repair for acne scars. I take photographs...

Hi, How long to avoid the sun? Forever! Just kidding. You should consult with your treating physician for the answers to thes questions. The risk of sun exposure after Fraxel repair is hyperpigmentation. I would advise you to do your running very early or at sundown with sun block and a hat....

Fraxel Repair is a carbon dioxide (CO2) laser which targets water in the skin. Hair removal lasers target the pigment cells (melanocytes) in the hair follicle. Fraxel Repair can actually cut the hair but will not permanently remove hair. Fraxel Repair is excellent for skin rejuvenation,...

While it is impossible to say without seeing you, I find that many 62 year olds are perfect for this procedure.  It is always a challenge to say who is and isn't, but go to someone in your area with a good reputation and see if they feel you are OK for it.  Good luck!
