How Long After Fraxel Re:pair Do I Have to Wait Before I See the Full Collagen Regrowth?

I had a fraxel re:pair last thursday and was wondering when will the collagen growth come and fill in the little holes that were put into my skin

Unfortunately you will get diminishing returns after any laser resurfacing procedure. There are many types of scars and many different types of treatments. It may be worth while talking with your plastic surgeon about what other treatments might be available.

Hi, How long to avoid the sun? Forever! Just kidding. You should consult with your treating physician for the answers to thes questions. The risk of sun exposure after Fraxel repair is hyperpigmentation. I would advise you to do your running very early or at sundown with sun block and a hat....

Fraxel is used for wrinkles, acne scarring and many other reasons, but removing hair is not one of them.  Sorry!

No, its a perfect age, depending on the sun damage. If you have mild, yes, 1927 Fraxel, moderate, RePair, and severe, it should be fully ablative laser. My oldest patient is 90 for RePair. She healed up absolutely fine. All the best, Dr Davin Lim
