I'm worried if rhinoplasty will cause other health problems eg migraines, sinus infections, breathing issues.

How rare or common is it to have further health problems after rhinoplasty?

Problems following rhinoplasty

Hi, liz_rc!  These can happen following a rhinoplasty but are unlikely. Your best chance for not having these occur is to consult with a board certified plastic surgeon who performs rhinoplasty on a regular basis.  Good luck and try not to stress too much!

Rhinoplasty causing migraines, sinus infections and breathing issues?

A rhinoplasty procedure does not cause sinus infections or migraine headaches. It's also important to make sure that a thorough examination is performed prior to the rhinoplasty procedure to make sure there's no pre-existing nasal Obstruction issues/ symptoms which are made worse when the  nose is made smaller.

Health issues after rhinoplasty

Often sinus issues are less frequent if airflow via the nose is improved.  Migraines can also be improved when a septum is straightened and turbinates are addressed.
