I have a very long space between my nose and upper lip. I have done juvederm filler for 9 months but the dentist who injected me told me as this gap is very long, I will end up with a big duck lip! I was thinking of getting a lip lift and permalip implant. I do not know if it is a good idea.

Answer: Lip lift? Based on your photos your lips appear full and perky. There is no reason for any treatment right now. This may become an issue in 20+ years but for the time being do not think about lip lift. Good luck.

Answer: Lip lift Your anatomy looks favorable. Your lip is long, your nose is relatively wide compared to the width of your lips, and it looks like you have a fairly deep nostril sill to hide a scar in. That combination should bode well for a lip lift. Mitigating that somewhat, is what looks like a long upper face. You don't show a photo with your lips parted. If, when you part your lips, you see the bottom part of your upper teeth, a lip lift me make you look "toothy. "Let me know how it turns out!

Answer: Lip lift great for the right patient I'm a fan of lip lifts, but they're typically best for older patients whose upper lift has drooped from age. Your photos don't help much. Photos should show the teeth with a relaxed, slightly open mouth. Your profile photo seems to show a normal length upper lip, front views seem shot from above, and you seem young. Stay away from any implanted device in the lips! They can cause significant complications, and even in the best of circumstances can look or feel weird. Injectables or fat injection from an experienced surgeon are options for lips, but will enlarge and possibly lengthen lips, not shorten them.
