I have new melasma on upper lip after laser hair removal and old on both cheeks. I had chemical peels, retin a and vitamin c so far to remove this but no effect. I am specifically depressed about the upper lip melasma since it's very stubborn and noticeable. It's very hard to hide with makeup too. My doctor is recommending hydroquinone10% cream to treat the upper lip melasma. But, I am already depressed thinking it may not work. I have left my job as I hated my appearance. is there hope for me?
