I live in the UK & did serious research to find the right surgeon.The person I chose was, at the time, the president of the Brit Assoc of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons. Reviews in professional literature & from patients were exceptionally positive. However, 2 1/2 years after the surgery & I still have extensive numbness: both sides of face, neck front & back, ears, behind ears, areas of scalp - surgeon said this happens in only 2% of cases & it was perhaps due to my pernicious anaemia - what????

You don't want to reverse your lift; you had surgery to improve a look that you didn't like. I need to see pictures to discuss possible alternatives o improve your present appearance. If privacy is an issue send pictures to individual members of this panel.
It is perfectly normal to have some swelling and bruising 5 days after a facelift and the swelling can cause the face to appear pulled. It is also not uncommon to have some fatigue after surgery, but this can also depend on the type of anesthesia used during the procedure. The discomfort...
