Hi I have had facial fillers in my cheeks for the past 4 years - about twice a year. I am unhappy with the result, my face is extremely puffy and I have a bulge of skin under my eye I never had before. I also have dents in the top of my cheeks when I smile. Can these be removed? I believe the Dr used Voluma. Will the removing agent affect my own natural fat and volume in my face? Will it be removed evenly? What do you suggest? Thank you!

Answer: Can I dissolve my facial filler in my cheeks
Voluma produces immediate results upon injecting. However, there is some swelling and inflammation that occurs secondary to the injection process, so I advise waiting a full 2 weeks after treatment in order to allow any swelling to resolve before assessing your results
Hi @preludecrs! I'm sorry you had to experience this. I recommend dissolving the filler with Hyaluronidase. The filler was placed in the wrong plane. Best of luck to you, Dr. Nima!
