Dermatologists - how soon moles should be removed? (photos)

I met with a Dr early October who assessed my 2 moles one on each thigh. She said that the small mole on my left thigh should be removed and be checked for history and then my larger mole on my right thigh should be slightly removed. The biopsy waiting list is a while it's been 3 months now and I'm thinking about whether I should continue waiting or go private and have the moles removed asap. Is there a 'right time' for how soon they need to be removed? Any guidance is very much appreciated.

Since you're concerned, I suggest seeing a cosmetic dermatologist for a formal evaluation. This can be removed with lasers, radiowave or shave. See an expert for minimal scarring. Best, Dr. Emer
