My microblading has not taken and they are now worse. Why has this happened? (Photo)

Question

I had my eyebrows done 11 days ago, the scabs have fully fallen off and there is no pigment at all and my brows are worse then before as it has taken some of my natural hairs with it. I followed the correct aftercare and I believe the therapist did go deep enough. I’ve spoken to my therapist who says this is normal and can take up to 28 days for the pigment to come through but I’m not sure and I don’t want to keep bugging her? Please help!

Wait for the time the therapist said and then reevaluate your situation. Do not be hasty and do anything drastic.

Hi sophierae, Your aesthetician is correct. Brows that appear dark and full can scab off leaving the area patchy. From the third week onwards, your brows will reappear. It is advisable to have your perfection session six weeks after microblading.All the best, Justin Harper, M.D.

That is a risk with microblading in the brows.  It may damage native hair temporarily or permanently and only time will tell.  Keep taking care of it and definitely call or go see your practitioner or dermatologist for an expert opinion.Good Luck!
