I am missing a molar and a premolar, I had them extracted around three years ago due to extreme pain resulting from holes in my teeth with cavities that were hitting the nerves. I am so traumatised by the pain that I do not want to risk going through Can I get a Maryland bridge for these instead? I don’t mind replacing them every five years. I just don’t want to go through the agony again.

Answer: Maryland bridges are for anterior teeth only
This can go 2 ways... You could end up with a bridge that DOESN'T match your natural teeth and smile or you could end up with a bridge that DOES match your natural teeth and smile. The way to control which one you get is to do your research, find a dentist that does cosmetic dentistry...
The teeth may be smaller but the teeth need to be cut moreAs a result, the teeth may need root canal treatment. If you accept this cost, your doctor can make a new one for you, smaller.
If you’re unhappy with the result, then yes I’d consider redoing the zirconia bridge. You should be able to get a more natural looking result. If redone, ask the dentist to see the final bridge tried in before it’s cemented so you can make sure you are happy with the final result.
