After 4 years of laser hair removal that hasn't worked, is it smart to invest in a home device and top-up myself? Which device?

I have been getting laser removal every 6 weeks for 4 years! The hair on my face is too fine, dark, and hormonal to be permanently removed so it keeps growing back. I am spending a lot of money monthly to top-up. Can I invest in a home laser device and top up myself? Does anyone have any recommendations for a good one that actually works?

You would be fine to have laser hair removal while on oral steroids, although the higher the dose, the more fragile the skin will be and the healing time a little longer. More importantly, make sure your laser hair removal is performed at a proper medical clinic such as a dermatologist's office...

Most effective laser for fair skin and dark hair is an Alexandrite laser. Of the ones you mentioned above it would definitely be the Candela GentleLase-- no question of it.
