I see some people saying its safe to apply tretinoin cream right after home derma rolling (1.5mm) and some say it's not.I'm confused? would it be better or worse to apply tretinoin cream directly after dermarolling? looking for the best results possible

I ask my patients to use tretinoin after skin rolling- micro needling, however the rate limiting factor is skin irritation. On this basis I get them to use Vitamin A 2-4 days after. When one needles to create channels, in theory we would like penetration of the vitamin A - tretinoin- tazarotene to enter into the deeper layers. The reality is that these chemical are made in a cream base with chemical that can irritate the skin and cause inflammation. Some patients can get away with this, others can not. Due to enhanced penetration through the skin after a micro-needling procedure, anything that is applied during or immediately after micro-needling needs to be something that is considered safe to INJECT into the skin. This is especially true with the use of longer needles such as 1.5 mm. So, no, it is not safe to apply tretinoin cream directly after micro-needling.
