Can you ever get your septum re-pierced after an open rhinoplasty?

I've had it done for years and loved it but I'll obviously have to take it out for the procedure. A septum piercing goes through the soft spot between the cartilage and skin and not actually the septum. Would I ever be able to get it re-pierced? Thanks

Piercing after rhinoplasty

Usually there is no problem re-piercing the septum after healing has completed with permission of your surgeon. Talk to your surgeon and get clearance to go ahead. You may have to wait 6-12 months before you do that, its surgeon dependent. good luck
