Running and weightlifting after Rhinoseptoplasty?

Hi. I had rhinoplasty/septoplasty surgery a week ago. Day 6 and 7 post-op I felt great, swelling was doing well and my surgeon said I could lightly get back into my weightlifting after a week depending on how I feel. Day 7 post-op I ran a half mile and did minimal weightlifting but my nose has swelled and I am wondering if it was from running. but my main question would be is it too soon to run?

In our practice, unrestricted physical activity may be resumed 21 days after rhinoplasty surgery.

Your nose may be sensitive to swelling only one week following rhinoplasty surgery. Consider refraining from working out for another two weeks. Hope this helps. DrJoseph
