Is there any limit (maximum amount) regarding, how much fat can be removed at a time during a buccal fat removal surgery? Or does the amount of fat (to be removed) depends on the individual's desire and conditions? Thanks in advance.

Buccal fat - how much to remove?
- Buccal fat usually comes encapsulated and all the encapsulated fat is removed.
- It should correspond in place and size to the cheek bulge that it aims to correct.
- Since fat is found throughout the face, sdditional fat can be removed but risks giving a haggard look to the face.

Amount of buccal fat removal maximum amount
There is a limit of buccal fat which can be removed which is the amount of buccal fat present. Buccal fat can be one or more distinct fat pads seen in the midface. The amount of buccal fat present will vary from patient to patient and hence the degree of change will vary as well.
