Hi, i have a tattoo on my back-hand, i went through 7 picoway sessions (the photo was taken several days post 7th session) with little to no results. I noticed that in this area of the body there is almost no excess skin, but i'm not a doctor so i don't know how much skin is required in order to go through this procedure. So i don't know if tattoo excision is relevant for me. Thanks in advance for your answers.

This is sometimes an inflammatory reaction or sarcoidal reaction. this needs biopsy to determine if that is true. if it is only pulsed dye laser and steroid injections can help. some people would add fraxel and more pico or q switch. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello and thank you for your question!
Our practice uses and recommends Enlighten™, as it is the most advanced laser tattoo removal system in the market. This laser uses two different pulse speeds, Picosecond and Nanosecond, which allows our medical providers to tailor the treatment...
We often see localized skin discoloration after removal sessions. Generally this is just a collection of pigments and bruising under the skin. it should resolve without complication. if it last more than a few weeks have your provider evaluate it
