Cleaning the nose after Rhinoplasty. Any suggestions?

Im 4 weeks post rhinoplasty and i clean my nose with a cotton ear pud i clean my nose because the mucus really hurt so I accidentally pulled out a stitch im really scared if this will affect my results or can cause any repositioning to my cartilage bone thank you

Rhinoplasty post op, some advices:

Swelling after a rhinoplasty depends of the surgery complexity.
In this regard, the nasal swelling Post-op It can last from two weeks to two months.
To reduce this swelling, I recommend you perform delicates daily lymphatic drainage massage therapy over the face (around the nose) avoid sun exposure, and take pain/inflamation pills, as your surgeron precribe you.

Cleaning after rhinoplasty

Thanks for your questions. Obviously you should refer to your surgeon for any specific recommendations, however generally speaking it is ok to clean the nostril area gently with a q tip and some peroxide. Additionally I typically recommend rinsing with a saline solution around 48 hours after surgery, however please again clear this with your surgeon, as I typically do not use packing but many nasal surgeons do. Hope this helps
