Supplements for hair loss

I am not aware of any dietary supplements that help with hair loss.  Minoxidil, placed topically, and Finasteride (Propecia) taken orally, are the only medical treatments shown to treat hair loss.  Minoxidil can be used by men and women but Finasteride should only be used by men.

I wish it was that simple.

It would be very unlikely that your hair loss is due to lack of something in your diet but I would need to know more about you (description of your hair loss, general health, family history etc).
