When I smile my central upper lip hangs and I’m not sure why. What is the cause and how is it corrected? Thanks!

You should speak to a plastic surgeon and see what can be done about it. In Texas, I don't believe dentists are allowed to address these issues unless they are related to the teeth or jaw.

This appears to be a muscle issue. You may want to talk to a cosmetic surgeon about whether this can be corrected using a facial filler.
