Can I use Retina-A while pregnancy?

Retin-A and pregnancy

Thank you for your question. No you should not use Retin-A while pregnant because all retinoids (tretinoin, Retin-A, adapalene, Differin, etc) have risks of birth defects especially if used during the first trimester. I highly suggest you consult with a board certified dermatologist to discuss alternative treatment options that are safe during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Take care and good luck.
