When can you usually drive after a BR?

When can I drive after breast reduction surgery?

Your Plastic Surgeon will recommend the ideal time that you may resume activities including driving.  Generally,  you should wait until you are no longer taking pain medications (driving on pain meds = DUI) and you are no longer in pain.  Your Plastic Surgeon may delay further, based on your exact procedure, specifics of your health and recovery as well as surgeon preferences.Good luck with your surgery!

I would not drive until cleared by your plastic surgeon to do so. Pain medication can alter your sensorium and should not be used while driving. Usually driving is allowed within days after your procedure provided these two conditions are met.
