I had bcc on the temple and a forward advancement flap to move skin upward to cover it. Most of my scar is hidden in my hairline now. My right eye was very twisted up on the end during reconstruction......and extremely swollen and mis-shapen. 6 months later my eye is still really weird. Is this normal? Is this a lymph drainage issue? Will this correct itself in the next 6 months? Could leftover stitches material in my head be making me keep swelling? I hide behind glasses now. Thanks.
