Any suggestions to reduce bleeding?

Dear doctors, I am having breast reduction surgery, and the BCPS will be doing liposuction on 2" "tire roll" area I have across my mid-belly region at the same time. They estimated a 4 hour procedure. I am concerned about excessive bleeding, and know to stop my daily vitamin E cap, weeks before the surgery day. I want to know if there is anything else I can do? I am worried that as fat is presumed to be sucked out, the procedure will be causing blood loss! (and maybe little fat?) Is this possible?

Blood loss from tumescent liposuction is typically very minimal. Other than avoiding non steroidal drugs and aspirin, assuming you do not have a clotting problem, there is nothing else necessary.

Provided that you clot normally,  I usually recommend no Aspririn, NSAID's, or any other blood thinners. Ask your surgeon his preferences as well.
