Will covering my head affect my Hair Transplant?

Hats After Transplant
At 2 months wearing hats is totally fine. Essentially you could treat your hair like you would have before the transplant ever happened. However by this time your scabs should really be gone. If you're having trouble removing them talk to your doctor about it.
Wearing a hat
Hats are fine as long as they do not rub against the grafts. We supply a trucker hat to our patients because it leaves room for the transplant area and can also be adjusted to fit loose.
I wouldn't recommend wearing a hat for at least the first 48 hrs though. But at 2 months you can do whatever you want with your head.

I often give a hat to our patient when they leave our office. Using a hat is perfectly ok after a hair transplant, even right away.
