I Had Keloid Surgery 1 Month Ago, Theres Red Skin Around It What is It? What Can I Do to Make It Better? (photo)

I am 16 years old, I burned my face and it resulted in a keloid. I had keloid surgery beside my nose 1 month ago, I started getting red skin around it after 4 days of surgery. It started to swell up too. I already have had cortisone injections with kenalog-40.

I would treat the redness s/p keloid resection with pulsed dye laser.  Kenalog, in this case, may further aggravate the atrophic scar.

Keloids can be difficult to treat. I excise them fully and meticulously suture them with with non reactive sutures. They are also aggressively treated with steroids.
