Can a broad hypertrophic scar on the finger be surgically revised to create a thin line scar?

Finger scars treated with laser

Hypertrophic scars on the fingers can be surgical reduced or resurfaced.  Finger scars do well in most cases.  If there is scar contracture, I would recommend a release procedure.
