I had PRK surgery on May 2017 on both eyes I was told I have corneal scars 3 months later, will I recover my vision?

After 3 months on August 2017 , I had little bulr vision on my right , I consulted doctor , he told that scar are formed , after 3 week the vision when more blur , he had prescibed me , a lubricant drops & FML drops , is it's possible that I can get normal vision , pls give suggestions , how long it takes to recovery my vision , other than PTR please suggested any possibility

A prescription for Restasis drops to use twice a day will help. I will often prescribe Restasis before refracticve surgery to avoid post-op dry eyes. Lubricating ointments like Refresh PM or Muro ointment ointment before you go to bed may also be helpful.

I would seek a second opinion from a local refractive suergeon, if you are not satisfied with your current doctor. Irregularities of the cornea my be fixed with contact lenses, or you may require repeat PRK. You may also have a cataract that are causing your symptoms.

It is extremely common to be blurry 2 weeks after PRK. It is also common for the vision to have been better and to decrease 2 weeks after PRK. There will be a slow but irregular improvement in the vision, If you are very concerned, go back to see your doctor.

Yes, you can use sterile water to clean the eyes, but this would not be the best choice. The best is use something that is more similar to tears, which as you know contain salt. The ideal solution would be sterile saline solution, not sterile water.

PRK averages 6 months of fluctuating vision before settling in.  Let the eyes continue to heal and continue your follow-ups.  Healing with PRK is something that takes time and patience.

At this point, you should revisit your doctor to narrow down the cause of the blurry and fluctuating vision.
