My 9 months old son poked my eye today (two days after LASIK). I'm not feeling any pain. Should I be concerned?

If your eye does not hurt, is not red, and your vision is good, you have no need to be concerned. But be careful going forward! If your son is quick to poke, wear a light tinted pair of sunglasses when around him to protect your eyes for the first few weeks.

Certainly if you get a finger to eye this soon after lasik it can have serious effects like lifting or wrinkling the flap. However, if you are not having any pain and the vision is good then it is unlikely that your son has caused serious damage to your Lasik flap. If any pain returns, you have yellow or green discharge, or if the vision is diminished then you ought to get in to see your surgeon asap otherwise continue your drops and go to your scheduled follow up appointments. I think it is not a bad idea to call your eye doctor just to let he or she know what happened.
