I sat in a hot tub the day after LASIK. Should I be worried or go to see my doctor?

I had my lasik Thursday afternoon and Friday night I went to my friends house and we sat in the hot tub for about 5-6 hours. No water got into my eyes, but my eyes feel a little dry and irritated today and when I googled it I realized it was a terrible idea. They are also a littl red. Should I be worried? Is it catastrophic? Should I go see my Dr.? I didnt think it through and honestly didnt think anything of it since I knew we would just be relaxing and chatting. Im a little worried.

Dryness can cause redness and gritty sensation. I would not be alarmed especially because you state that the drops have helped. Everything sounds normal based on what you have described. Some people have a sensitivity to the preservatives in the moisturizing drops. For these people, preservative-free make a big difference. For most people, there is no difference. Try to regular drops to see how they feel -- they are much less expensive.
