As long as you follow normal precautions for anyone who has had recent surgery, cooking is generally fine after undergoing a Femto-LASIK procedure.

I am sorry, I may be late with this response. Cooking is usually not much of an issue unless you are going to have grease, steam, or other matter hit your eyes. You can also where some protection. Having said that I would avoid anything which could splatter in you eyes for at least a couple of days and if something does get in your eyes the worst thing you can do is rub them.As for the baby, most surgeons do not like you to be nursing when you have the surgery because of the hormone alteration which can affect your eyeglass or contact lens prescription. Not all mothers will have this prescription change. I would speak to your surgeon about nursing.
