Can post op swelling of the tip cause the nose to look more deviated than it is?

I had revision work done in march 2016 and as part of it the surgeon shaved a little bit of the lower lateral cartilage. This is evidently swollen compared to the other side. How does this affect deviation.

Dear andyzworld, Asymmetric post-operative swelling in the tip can give the appearance that the nose is deviated. See your surgeon for an examination and since he/she knows best where you are in the recovery phase and what techniques were used during the procedure can best inform you on your concerns.
