Pain in my fake teeth. Why are they hurting so bad?

I have had four fake teeth cemented in on the top part of my mouth. Its been about 15 years or so that it was done. Well now for the last four days the fake teeth have been hurting a lot like a toothache. Can you tell me why they are hurting so bad. Did they work lose or have they wore down?

It sounds like you might have crowns that have decay under
them or possibly a gum disease problem. Either way, you need to see a dentist
as soon as possible for an exam and x-rays. That’s the only way to find out
what’s going on.

Unfortunately, without any diagnostic images, it is hard to determine what is the root cause of pain. Sometimes you can have an infection underneath the crowns which may be causing pain that mimics a tooth ache. It is important to have it evaluated by a qualified dentist in order to treat it properly. Good luck!
