I'm having it done on my neck to hopefully make a couple lines less apparent. I have an event the following day. Should I be concerned about side effects? Will i be able to wear a low neckline outfit? The only other laser treatments I've had done are IPL and extensive.

Besides that there is typically no downtime since the heat is being directed deeper into the skin without disrupting skin barrier. They may measure temperature as you are being treated or may measure total energy delivered as an endpoint. If it feels too hot, speak up. But in general it is a comfortable treatment and feels great. In general, in patients have an event the following day and have never had it done before, I would be cautious!

Answer: SKINTYTE day before event I'm going to play the devil's advocate on this one to give balance to your other answers. There is a small chance that you have a little redness the next day. A week or a few days prior to the event is one thing, but the day before may have a small risk of still looking red or pink, this could be covered with powder. If it is your very first Skintyte treatment, maybe not good to have the day before an event. It is an excellent, treatment that is pain free and no downtime, however, you might have a little redness, depending on your skin type, etc. If you have never had it before, you don't know how your skin will react. I have seen skin types 1&2 look a little pink to light right for a day or 2. Maybe because the esthetician used a bit too much power or just their own skins reaction. You will love the results, but don't risk feeling self-conscious and not wearing the low neckline that you are planning. The results take a time and several treatments, so most are not going to see significant benefit the next day.
