Pain after getting a mole shaved and cauterized? (Photo)

On Monday I got a mole on my back shaved and cauterized from my dermatologist. I am not in a lot of pain and I'm not sure if it's normal. I've been cleaning it like I should. But it looks irritated. The picture is a bit blurry. But you can still see it. Is this normal? Or should I be worried?

Pain if significant should be evaluated.  It looks as if it is healing properly and needs silicone based scar gels at this time but a formal consultation would be important.  Best, Dr. Emer.
