Are there things such as anti-inflammatory teas, massage, or increased water intake that will help speed up coolsculpting result? I realize patience is necessary and downtime is as long as 2-4 months so that need not be reiterated. Just curious if these types of supplements may help? Is the delay due to down time for the apoptosis to happen, or due to the actual removal? Thanks!

Answer: Coolsculpting Coolsculpting is an excellent form of non-invasive fat reduction for the right patient. Some applicators take 1 or 2 hours but the new advantage applicators take only 35 minutes and have significantly less risk for delayed onset pain (especially in the abdomen). Results are seen at 2 months and typically 1-3 treatments will be necessary on each area to achieve ideal results. The number of treatments depends on the amount of fat there and the patient's goals. There is not downtime and the results can be impressive in the right patient. We also use the Zimmer Z-wave for improved patient comfort and added results. The best candidates are those who are in pretty good shape with areas of stubborn fat that won't go away no matter what. Healthy diet and exercise is very important to get the best results. Answer: Massage may help speed up recovery after CoolSculpting, but not proven
Once the fat cells die, the body needs to clear them via the immune macrophage cells. Repeated treatment, can be performed at six weeks (some doctors repeat sooner, and others later). Repeated treatment at this interval may provide a better end result than waiting four months to do a second or third treatment.
