Can saline be used under the eyes to give an idea of what filler would look like in that area?

Is saline a possible way to preview the result of under eye fillers? If so, how long would the effect last and what would the potential risks be, if there are any. Thank you.

Under eye fillers

Thank you for your question. Although saline can simulate what fillers look like it is not an exact simulation. Saline and fillers have different viscosity, color characteristics, feel etc. Injecting saline still carries risks of bruising, swelling etc as well as costs so it is not commonly done. Go to a consult and see if the surgeon can give you an idea of what to expect and help you make a decision. Good luck.
