I live in the UK and had a septoplasty 15 months ago to correct a double deviated septum. I had the procedure on the NHS. I am still having tenderness in the columella and bridge of my nose (it feels stiff and bone/cartilage clicks a bit when I scrunch my nose up) and I still get awful front tooth pain from time to time. The surgeon has told me that the nerves would have healed by this time. I am at a loss. Is it possible to still have tenderness after this time? Yes/no?
Is it possible to still have columella tenderness 15 months post septoplasty?
