70cc of fluid removed from Seroma today, 25 days post Tummy tuck and lipo, how often should I get it drained?

I got 70cc drained from a tummy tuck seroma today, he could have got more out but I was feeling faint so he stopped. I've still got a lot of fluid left and you can see a big wave motion over my bottom of my abdomen. I wasn't really given clear instructions on when to come back as it wasn't my surgeon who did the aspiration. My surgeon is back in 2 weeks (I'll be 6 weeks post op) but I'm concerned about my seroma just sitting there. Do I go back this week for another aspiration or just wait?

I appreciate your question. I would recommend that you discuss this question with your surgeon as every surgeon has their own respective post op protocol for his/her patients.  Your surgeon is your best resource as he/she is most familiar with your medical history and how you are healing at this time. The best way to assess and give true advice would be an in-person exam. Please see a board-certified plastic surgeon that specializes in aesthetic and restorative plastic surgery. Best of luck!
